Mike aint the only one who's BAD- WOW!!!

So...it has been an act of CONGRESS to find clothes! I needed more because NOTHING fit anymore! Seriously! I needed new underwear, bras, EVERYTHANG (in my Katt Williams voice).  So I was a little bit irritated that before it seemed like I would be an 18 FOREVER...SIKE YO MIND SHAWTY!  Guess who went to the GAP and was able to get into a 14/16?? Yep, that was ME!  And guess who went to NY&CO and got a dress in a size MEDIUM and a pair of capris in a size 14?? YEP YEP, ME AGAIN! I was soooo excited - not to mention that all of these places have a huge SALE (bargain is my middle name, if its not on sale or I dont have a coupon, Im not buying!)  Right now I am content knowing that the weight WILL continue to drop off. I am keeping a chart of my daily vitamin and water/protein intake just to adjust behavior if necessary.  But let me tell you....putting on a size 14/16, and then seeing that a pair of jeans that I REALLY wanted were on sale ($11.99 @ GAP) but all that they had left were size 18's...PRICELESS.  It was almost a tearjerker to go into that dressing room and come out and when the lady said 'How do they fit?' I was choked up and answered 'They're too big' with a mix of sadness and happiness all together.  This surgery is an amazing tool - and if I must say so myself I am WORKING IT!!  I will try and keep my ladies updated on the sales:

**NY&CO is having a 50% off sale - really good if you are in between and want to get some nice slacks, dresses, shorts, capris, tops, etc for around $15-$19 each.  Also, sign up on their website and you can get a coupon for $25 off $75. On July 17, they start a 30% off sale also.

**Old Navy is having a REALLY good summer sale - 60% off. Tshirts are like $5, tanks are like $8, some jeans are $19, and capris/shorts are $14. 

**The GAP is having a great jean sale - most are $14.99 and so are shorts.  Offer is online as well so hurry!

I remember that feeling when I was finally able to wear clothes sizes that didn't have an "X" in front of it.  I so understand how you're feeling.  It's wonderful.  Congratulations and thanks for sharing it with us.

Congratulations!  I am so sharing this feeling with you.  This past weekend I went in the store to find something comfortable but cute to wear to a July 4th BBQ.  I was able to get all of my hips in a size 14/16 dress.  I was so over joyed when I came out the dressing room my husband had to tell me to quiet down.  Oh what an awesome feeling it is!!

Good for you.  I am totally feeling you on this one Sistah!!!  It blows me away that I can fit in smaller sizes and that I don't have to shop at Lane Bryant.  I can go into any store and things will fit.  What a nice way to spend the summer, finding your new style.  I am so happy for you.

WOW!!! I know the feeling. I am also a bargain shopper and I have the same rules. Clearance, Coupons, sales. I have passed this on to my children because you can look like you have a million bucks, but you dont have to spend a million to do so. I understand the bitter-sweet feelling. I had a girlfriend of mines to say that my outfit looked like I was wearing a bag, at first I was kinda offended...BUT then reality kicked in and I said THANK YOU.  Of course I went shopping and was able to get clothes 2-4 sizes smaller. Keep up the good work...We are moving in the right direction ladies & gents.
